RESEARCH INTERESTS: Animal Behavior, Ecology,
Conservation Biology
I currently have two primary research topics. The first is examining various aspects of the biology of
Monk Parakeets (Myiopsitta monachus) in the Chicago area. The second is studying the play and
predatory behaviors of carnivorous Northern Grasshopper Mice (Onychomys
leucogaster).
